SEE's vision is to promote sustainable development for people and nature, highlight ecological benefits, economic and social benefits under the guiding values of unity. In the Alashan region SEE has promoted community-based integrated development solution to the problem of desertification, while promoting Chinese entrepreneurs to assume more social responsibility, environmental responsibility and to promote environmental protection and sustainable enterprise development and construction.

TNRF - Tanzania Natural Resource Forum - implementation partner in Tanzania

TNRF is a collective civil society-based initiative to improve natural resource management and conservation in Tanzania by addressing fundamental issues of governance. They view the quality and equity of governance as fundamentally determining how natural resources are managed and how they support the livelihoods of Tanzanians and the sustainable economic development of the country.

UCRT - Ujamaa Community Resource Team - implementation partner in Tanzania

UCRT supports local communities to improve their livelihoods by controlling, managing and benefiting from their lands through sustainable natural resource management. They work with eight different ethnic groups in 35 villages spread across eight districts of Northern Tanzania. One of the main objectives is to empower communities to secure legal rights over their lands and natural resources. UCRT believes that building the skills, knowledge and management capacity within communities and households is crucial for allowing them to take advantage of the economic and livelihood opportunities provided by their natural resources. UCRT is a member organization of TNRF.

IRDNC - Integrated Rural Development and Nature Conservation - implementation partner in Namibia

IRDNC's long-term southern African programme pioneered linking wildlife conservation to rural development and to democracy. They developed an African way of doing conservation and nurtured a powerful local vision that stands firmly on three legs - improved management of natural resources by users themselves, diversified local economic development and the growth of a strong civil society in Namibia's remotest regions.

ZF - Zeitz Foundation - implementation partner in Kenya

Founded in 2008 by Jochen Zeitz, the Zeitz Foundation is a non-profit organization registered in Germany, headquartered in Kenya, and with representation in the United States and the United Kingdom. The goal of the Foundation is to maintain or improve the integrity of ecosystems through effective, sustainable management practices that ensure ecosystems continue to deliver services - such as clean water and air, carbon sequestration, and healthy soils - for the benefit of mankind.
